Whats up fellas. I have a marketing project due next week. We're recording a commercial. I know my Macbook pro has a microphone, i just cant find how to activate it, or where it is. I have the late model, 15 inch. Any help is greatly appreciated.

but how do i activate it? and how do i save recordings?

The is an application calll "Audio MIDI Setup". Use that to select audio inputs. Try it see if you are happy with the audio quality. It is not much better than a cell phone. Maybe good enough? Many people find they want to buy a "real microphone" and an interface.

To make recording you need some software like Garage Band. To save click "File- Save As..."
