Hi all, I'm struggling to find a USB-C dock for my Macbook. What I need is a device that has:

HDMI
USB-A port (one will do, more is nice)
Pass-through power
and a cable longer than a few inches!

So many of these devices are available that have tiny USB-C cables built in, so the hub (and hence all the other cables) have to be right next to the machine. What I need is one with either a cable at least a couple of feet long, or with a port instead so I can use a USB-C to USB-C cable.

That way, I can mount and connect the hub behind a partition, and have only the USB-C cable coming out, which I plug into the MacBook to get power and HDMI, and perhaps a couple of other ports too, but all cabled out of sight.

Is there such a device? Am I not looking hard enough?

This device seems to meet your criteria, but may also be more expensive than what you had in mind.
