Hello

Well long story short
I erased my twitter app by mistake will trying to arrange my icons , when I went to the App Store to download the app again is telling me to "open" instead of "install"app
But I can't find the app anywhere in my phone.
FYI: I don't back an iTunes backup, I tried the spotlight search, I have search all over my folders and I have.

Any tips will be helpful.
TIA

Try restating your phone. If that doesn't work, you can try settings -> general -> reset -> reset home screen layout

Restarting and resetting home screen layout didn't work.

Btw my iphone 5 is jailbroken

Are you using any tweak to hide icons? (For example, sbsetttings). Check to see if your icon is somehow hidden

If not, you can try doing and see if iTunes detect whether the app is installed or not. Just transfer purchases to iTunes and you should be fine. If iTunes detect it installed, try using iTunes to uninstall it

Edit: when you use the AppStore, click open. Does it open the app? If not, what does clicking open do?

I'm currently not using any app or tweak to hide apps (like sbsettings)
When I press "open" nothing clicks

How about using iTunes on your PC to drag the icon (from the apps tab while synced) to any open space on a page. Then, it should sync. If that fails, see if Twitter is listed as install or remove and proceed accordingly (remove then reinstall).

Maybe if I try to restore my purchases because i didn't have a twitter backup so there is nothing to be sync

Hi Caffeino

A friend had a similar problem and found this did the trick:

"Open the App Store app and go to the Updates tab. At the top of the updates is a “Purchased” menu. From there, you can redownload nearly any app you’ve ever purchased, including many apps that are no longer available."

...which was a solution she found here: http://lifeinlofi.com/2012/11/28/restore-deleted-apps-to-iphone/

Good luck!

Lucy

SILLY go on general - memory usage or what ever it is
the place Where it tells you HOW much memory each app takes
and the info should say delete or something
and that is how you delete it and redownload it :D
try it
its in the settings somewhere
about the memory usage
