iPad mini Can't find What's App

I use my iPad mini iOS 8.1 to search for What's App and it generated "whatsapp for ipad" in its listing. After clicking, there isn't any What's App to download. All I can see is its accessories like WhatsApp stickers, emojis etc.

Why?

Whatsapp for iPad is not available. It may have been in the past but they longer support the iPhone version for any other IOS device.
