Can't finish Bootcamp on my iMac with SSD in the Superdrive SATA

Hi there, I have a 2010 iMac with a SSD where the superdrive used to be, I'm trying to install Windows to play some games but when the Mac restarts to install the OS all I get is the apple logo that flashes between this:

It's because of the SSD not being in the regular HD sata port?

EDIT: I'm using an USB DVD drive
