Where the fresh snow don't go.
So my iPod touch 3rd gen slipped into the lake a while back. I left it to dry for a good while and it turns on and charges but the screen is non-responsive. So I bought a digitizer and LCD from eBay to do a swap. Well when I connected all the wires, the iPod was still unresponsive. I shut it off and traded the digitizer for a new one, thinking the first one I received was defected. I got the second and tried again...no luck. I then got some 90% alcohol to clean the ports of where the digitizer goes and the 30pin as well as the headphone jack. Still...no luck.

Im kinda out of ideas...Does anyone else have a solution? I'm getting tried of having the iPod touch laying around lol.

you can let apple fix it but they probably will charge a lot of money
or maybe it's time to upgrade to the 5th gen
