Hi

I have an MBP with 250 GB Hard Disk, after update to Lion I note that I have only 55 GB free and before the update it was 140 GB I use what size software and there appear that I have in use about 80 Gb

Where is the rest and what to use to fix that????

OS X lion need 5GB of free space and since it creates "recovery partition" itself when trying to install OS X lion so let it take some more space says it 6GB. I do not think Lion can use space more than that. Have you tried to install Lion in different drives? If yes, it could burn some space because each time it will create recovery partition. Try terminal commands to list the files and their size. May be this could help you to find out.
