can't get 10.3.9 on my clamshell

So I just updated my iBook g3 clamshell to OS X 10.3 and now I'm trying to update it to 10.3.9 and the Ibook guy said that you can just download it from apples website but that was a six year old video so when I click on the download link it just says safari cannot open this or something like that. Is there any way around this?

Here it is direct from Apple:

If you can 't download it on your 10.3 directly on the iBook, download it using another (newer) MacOS, copy it onto a thumb drive & copy it to your iBook.

ok so I have a thumb drive but how do I dwonload os10.3.9 onto the thumb drive?

Download that combo updater.
Copy that downloaded file to a thumb drive.
Move the thumb drive to your clamshell.
Copy to the clamshell (or just double-click on the file to open the installer)
