can't get a 1080p output on Sony 55A2000

Hello everyone.
I've connected a Sony 55A2000 display (1080p supported) to my MBP (MiniDP → DVI → HDMI), but i can't set the 1080p resolution, only the interlaced one. Only "P" allowed is 720 %(

I've tried both 9400 and 9600 graphics. Are the new MBPs capable of 1080p output?

what cable connection are you using?
there may be problems if youre using just a solo VGA or DVI. there is something about aa dual-link DVI for the large mac screens
