Hey,

So i took the plunge and bought a mac mini. I'm having one problem. Whatever i set my display resolution to the display is either bigger than the screen (i can't see the edges) or there is a black border around the image. I'm using a Samsung 42" 720p tv as the monitor.

with overscan off there is always a black gap around the border.

my only options are 16:9 and 4:3. i'm in 16:9 now and there is a small border. 4:3 gives a much larger border.

it's about half and inch at the top and 3/4 of an inch at the sides (sorry don't have a digital camera)

I'm connecting to the TV through HDMI, could that contribute to the problem?
