I tried following the instructions on Apple's support page, they don't work.

As soon as I got my Airpods (just now), I immediately paired them to my iPhone 6s+, which worked as expected.

Then I tried to get them to pair to my iPodT6, no go.

I tried pushing the button on the back of the pods case until the light glows white, and then searching for it under bluetooth settings, but it never shows up.

I tried turning off my iPhone to release the connection, still no go, they're invisible to the iPT6.

Any suggestions?

Edit:

Nevermind, I finally found them in my crowded bluetooth settings in my iPhone, then just deleted them and managed to get them to show up in my iPT6, and then repaired them to my iPhone.

It didn't quite "just work" lol, but everything finally works ok now. I like them. Expensive though.

you could try under iPhone bluetooth push (i) after AirPods and have the phone Forget this device.

After setting up was easy to connect to my different I devices ( pad- apple TV and other ipads )

They are all on the same wifi and Icloud accounts
