I subscribe to the ATT WATCHTV service. It works fine on an app on my iPhone, it works fine on Chrome on a Parallels VM Windows 10 session. It won't work on my iMac or a MacBook running the latest Mojave. I get an error message 10027-001 saying I have a network error. I checked with my ISP Comcast and they say I have no noise on my line and my speed can range from 150Mbps to 250Mbps depending upon congestion.

After several long chat sessions with ATT, and finally a voice call, I'm no closer to a solution. What I've tried:
Rebooting my cable modem.
Rebooting my Linksys Velop Mesh Router
Trying incognito mode
Clearing the Safari cache, history, and cookies

@BeatCrazy I'm using http://attwatchtv.com

Another user account got the same error, and interestingly enough safe mode got a new error:
The content has an issue and can't play. Give it another try or select something else to watch" 10006-001

I did try several shows, but no go.

Sorry for the delay, I didn't get a notification of your reply.

Sorry I misread and thought you were trying to access atttvnow, which is different than WatchTV.

Probably best to contact AT&T directly.

@BeatCrazy I've spent a lot of time with AT&T Chat and an actual voice call with a person and no one could help me. I did try logging into atttvnow and it took my login, but then sent me to a non-existent page. What URL do you use?

Yeah that’s the right URL. Recommend taking your MacBook into a corporate-owned AT&T retail store for further trouble-shooting.

@BeatCrazy Hadn't thought of the store... when I have an afternoon to waste I may give it a try... I'm not that impressed with the tech savvy of the staff, but we'll see. It'll certainly be easier to take my MacBook in than my iMac which also has the problem :) as does other MacBooks in the house. Thanks for your interest.

Did you try different browser? If it plays in Parallels VM in Chrome, does it play on the host system (Mojave) in Chrome (for macOS)? It may be the Safari which is a problem.
