Can't Get Back Using Back To My Mac

Okay, so I am away from home and want to connect to my AEBS to retrieve some files from my connected HD - but can't. I have the latest AEBS running the temperamental 7.4.2 firmware.

I can see my AEBS under the Shared section of Finder but can't connect to it. I can even see my home computer (which should be off) but can't connect to it either (don't need to connect to it now). And when I open Airport Utility I can see both my AEBS and Express but I can only read the AE configuration.

Any thoughts about what I am doing wrong and how I can connect? I feel like it should be an easy fix, but can't seem to figure it out.
