Can't get calls to iPad from iPhone (through Continuity)

My iPhone 5S and iPad mini 2 is on 8.4 and they're both wifi connects to the same home network but when I get a call in my iPhone the iPad stays as usual. It's important to say that on my Mac I get the calls.
How can I fix this problem.

Try logging out of iCloud then back in on your iPad, then re-enable handoff on the iPad. If that doesn't work, log out of both and go through the process of setting up all devices again.
