cant get cydia on iphone!

ok so i did the jailbreaking on my iphone 3g with att everything works well
got the custom firmare and hit shift restore on dfu mode and then when the iphone comes back it comes back the same ?/
can you help me

one more question to do it again do i uninstall everything and start from the beggining or hit shift restore

i m using winpng
