Hi everyone,
I recently installed Windows via boot camp on my Macpro for the first . So forgive me if this is a newbie question. I successfully installed windows and backed up the windows support file on my external hard drive.

However when I go install the file from my hard drive I cannot see or get into the drive. Am I missing something ? I have skipped a step somewhere?

Thanks

Mario

If you external drive is formatted to HFS+ (which the mac uses) windows by itself cannot access it. You need something like MacDrive Alternatives to MacDrive include dropbox to sync some of your files (its free for 2gb) or a thumb drive.
