Bought a 'wireless' HP all-in-one 4780 printer...can't get it working wirelessly...poured through HP and Apple Doc...seen posts saying it CAN'T be set up with the Airport EXTREME (I emphasize EXTREME because it sounds like it works with other airport stuff).

When it comes time to make the wireless connection...you get the printer in the mode and are supposed to 'add wireless device' via the Airport utility...problem is that there is no option to do that...I've read stuff that makes me believe that used to be an option in previous FW/SW versions (I have the most current).

I tried the Bonjour route...(not even sure what I'm doing there) and other ways.

Long story Short...I can't get this thing to work wirelessly. Sounds like most routers have a physical button (WAP?) you can press while the printer is in wireless seek stage (you get a couple mins)...I know the AE doesn't have a physical one...but need to do it with software I guess.

Couple disclaimers...yes I get that some blame may be HPs...and I do regret getting one AGAIN ...for multiple other reasons... that's not what this is about.

***Update****

after much ado... found the add wireless in the actual menu bar ...going to continue setup (so far network won't acquire automatically...will try the PIN Option...

Any addition insight would still be welcomed!
