Hey Guys :)

I couldnt find Iphoto on my Macbook pro, so I searched for it in Appstore.

But in appstore they wanna charge 15$ for the app, and as i have read, iphoto is free on any newer mac devices :/

I have tried everything, both downloading the Ilife trial, and even with that it didn't install iphoto (it installed iMovie and everything else in the package)

Does anyone have any ideas? :/

Thx in advance.

When did you buy your rMBP? When I got mine, it already had the ilife apps installed.

Its from late 2012, bought it about 6 months ago from another guy, and at that time it was still in wrapping..

I understand that you bought the Mac "as new".

In that case, the Mac came with its OS (Mountain Lion) installed, the iLife Apps (iPhoto, iMovie, Garage Band) being not installed, but available on the App Store for free.

Go to the App Store, "Purchases" tab : the 3 Apps should be there ("You Have 3 Apps to Accept").

Its not under the "purchased" - And when it is set as 15$ in the App store :/

Perhaps he put it back in the wrapping, and wiped the computer, if that was the case then you'll have to buy it.
