I Can't get itunes to download music to ipad (1)

Music shows up in itunes- I select for it to sync all music, but nothing shows up on the iPad, I even moved itunes libary on mac from external drive and upgraded to ios 5, but neither one helped.

1) Make sure, when you connect your iPad to your computer, go on your our iPad tab on iTunes (left bar menu), go to the music tab, and check 'Sync all Music', or something like that.

2) If your restrictions are on (Setting>General>Restrictions), and they prevent you from syncing music, that might be why.

Other than those reasons, I don't know.
