I only want to sync my iPhone with iTunes for music and nothing else. (I'm relying on iCloud for everything else)

I made sure that every tab except for Music was unchecked, and when I pressed sync it asked if I would like to transfer my purchases to my Mac and I said "Don't transfer"

But regardless, it still transfers all of the apps on my iPhone to the computer. How can I prevent it from doing this?

I also tried going to the settings tab and checked "Sync only checked songs and videos" and that didn't work either.

I'd rather sync then transfer my music manually because I'm always updating my playlists and metadata :p

Thanks
