I'm not sure if this post should have been in the app section or the tips section, so I just chose this one.

I'm trying to install iTunes update to 6.0.5 that recently came out.. it downloads, but hangs halfway on the software update window when it says installing software. I've tried force quitting the update and restarting it, but it just hangs in the same stop again. This update isn't critical for me, but its just bugging me that it isn't working. If anyone has any ideas to get it to install please let me know, thanks.

I have a 1.67 Powerbook and am running 10.4.7

The same thing happened to me the other day.

Try quitting the Software Update process through Activity Monitor. Then, quit iTunes if it is open (that's what made mine hang, just checking... it was "frozen" open). You may have to restart now, but then you can try again.
