I purchased a 40k Screen. Love it! looks great, however Im having a rough time trying to get it to display 4k 16:9 not scaled! I got it to display for a while but then i messed with the setting and cat get it back. SO i know it will do it just. I had it at 30hz and it look good. No perfect but still good! I also know that my MBP will only put out a 30Hz and not 60. I've tried both the display port (thunderbolt and the HDMI output on the right. still no luck.
I have SwitchResX installed and I tried making a custom res for 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz but it won't put it in the list, it keeps coming back with invalid.
Note: I just noticed that the OS is seeing the screen as a 73.5-inch the screen is an LG 40UB8000 40" 4k LED... not sure how that got jacked up
