Can't get Netflix to work in Firefox.

Running a five year old MacBook Pro Snow Leopard version 10.6.8

Running Firefox verion 17.0.1

I can't get Netflix to work in Firefox anymore. I have downloaded and installed that stupid Silverlight plugin that Netflix tells me I need about a million times but it doesn't do anything. The Netflix website offers no helpful information.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The biggest thing when dealing with silver light and the others like flash is to make sure it is for the right browser, which I am sure you have. If it's installed, you'll see it in your add ons. If it's in there, then either your router, firewall or netflix has got issues. My firefox works fine with netflix.
