Can't get new external drive to work on Airport Extreme

Picked up a new external drive (IoSafe Solo) at Costco which the website will work with Apple Airport Extreme. I reformatted it, copied over my Time Machine backups, connected it to both of my machines to make sure Time Machine would recognize the new/old files (it did) and ran a Time Machine backup - all of which worked great.

Then I attached it to my Airport Extreme (firmware 7.5.2) and I can't get it to mount. I can see it in the Airport Utility, tell it that I want it to share, assign a password, etc. but it doesn't show up in the finder on either of my machines and can't be accessed.

I connected my old drive the the AE and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Did you set permissions or passwords when it was attached to your time capsule? That may be blocking it.
