Hi guys, I've had a couple of problems recently with my laptop acting very weird and slow, 13 in MBP 2013 i7. I have erased the disk and currently trying to reinstall osx, the only problem is that the installation is stuck at 20 minutes left and I don't know what to do. I ran a basic AHT test but it said that everything was fine. There's also this sound coming from the disc chamber, on and off every second.

This is the third time I'm truing to reinstall tpday , thank you!

Here is a PIC of where its stuck

If its a model with a Hard disk, then that noise could indicate a failure. Perhaps a visit to the Apple Store is needed?

cant think of anything else.

Mhmm I had a bad feeling about this hahah, alright I'll make an appointment then. Do you guys know if this is covered under apple care? My 1 yr free warranty is still active.

Thank you for your quick replies

If it is under the 1 year warranty, it is defenitly covered!

Ok that's perfect, next appointment is in a week... Typical apple it's worse than getting a doctors appointment lol. I was trying to repair the disk using disk utility and it said that there are unused nodes not being erased, is this an indication to my HDD failing?

On that same screen you posted in OP, just open the Installer log (press Cmd+L) then Cmd+3 (to display most verbose log) and see for yourself where does it get stuck.
