Help please. I had to activate an old 2g today. I got a new SIM from AT&T and followed the activation process through iTunes. I received a Activation Complete email. However, my iPhone remains in the apple logo screen asking me to sync it. When I plug it in, iTunes recognizes the device, but all it says is "iPhone" in the screen where one would normally see reset, storage, sync options, etc. If I right click on the device, all it allows me to do is eject. Whats going on? tried to do a restore from recovery mode and back at step one.

Working AT& T sim will do the trick. Put it into the phone, hook it up to Itunes.
