Can't get passed an error code

I have a jailbroken Iphone 3GS. I guess it was made after that certain manufacturing date and without knowing that I tried to hack it to be able to use my tmobile sim card...now it wont turn on unless plugged in and only goes thru reboot....once finished with reboot it gives me an error code of -1 and says the phone needs to be restored and does this over and over....any info would be great!! Thanks.
