Cant Get Rid of Badge Icon on Settings

I have iphone 4 with iOS 6.01. not jailbroken. All apps are updated. I have hard reset, backed up, synced, but my badge icon for my Settings app will not go away. I tried going through most of the settings and open them up but it is still there. Any help?

Did you check your software updates? Check it. A full restore through iTunes should always word unless there's something faulty in your backup and you're restoring from it? Try a fresh install without any backups.

Create a backup and try to restore from it to see what happens. If it doesn't go away, a 'Restore as new' may be needed.
