I manually sync music on my touch, usually by checking the artists I want on there.

Recently I've discovered that there is music on there that I haven't check marked in iTunes to be synced to the iPod. For example, there is a White Stripes album on there but the White Stripes are unchecked in the Artist section and their album isn't checked in the Album section either. No genre's are checked, basically no way this music should be on my iPod.

How do I get rid of it?

plug your ipod touch into your computer, launch iTunes.

When the ipod touch shows up in itunes, select music and select the tracks you want to remve, hit delete and they will be removed from your ipod.

If you want them back just drag and drop them onto your ipod touch.
