On this forum, all of the pages look way zoomed in to where I have to side scroll to read any threads.

I've tried decreasing Safari's font size in an effort to lose the side scroll, but no dice. I've tried changing my screen resolution, but the side scroll is still there along with a screen that hurts my eyes.

I have the resolution set to 1280 x 854.

That Buick forum is the only forum on the web that does that to me.

That does work Janey, but, over there I get microscopic fonts in order to rid the side scroll bar. Over here at MR, I can have my enlarged fonts AND no side scroll bar. Cake and eat it too. . . :)

Hmm, and you're not using anything special (like a stylesheet)?

Or perhaps there's something causing only that forum's pages to horizontally scroll - like an ad or something that forces the browser to scroll instead of cutting it off...

Try switching themes (if possible)? Or try another browser and see if it does the same thing as well. That site's not causing any side-scroll issues for me in Safari.
