Can't get split view working on IPad HELP!!!!

Upgraded to the latest OS(IOS 9) on my IPad Air 2 and been checking out the new multitasking features and I can get slide over working but I can't get split view working.

After I gone into slide over for some reason there is no thing in the middle that can move the app to a 50/50.

I really need some help on this, am I doing something wrong?

There aren't many apps supporting it yet. If an app doesn't support it, there's no handle to implement a split view.

For Split View to be allowed to be activated, both apps (the main app you started with and the one you've slid over) must support it. If the app you started with as the main app doesn't support it yet, you won't be able to split the screen, you'll only be able to slide an app over.

Try it from Safari and see if it works there.
