:apple:I have tried this weekend to search for files above my user library with Spotlight...for example the javaplayer file...

But spotlight did not find it...however browsing to
library/internet plugins I actually manually found it...

Being new to Mac...is there something I need to do to get Spotlight work well??

I also have Alfred could that be configured to search my iMAC??if so how??
best regards micael from sweden

EasyFind Or Find Any File are tow Apps which will find all files, the first one is I think the best.

But, Spotlight can also find much more, you just have to hit show in finder and there are more options there, there is more but for unknown reasons when I click Show All In Finder nothing happens.

Ok, I restarted, now I can tell more, when you click on Show All Files In Finder a Finder Window Opens, the on top you see a small bar, normally you'll see kind in a box, click on that and there are more options there, click on other and there are even more options there.
You can also specify more search criteria by clicking the + button.
