Cant Get Video Chat on iChat to Work!

I cant get the video chat function to work in iChat. I use my AIM account and I want to video chat with some other AIM account but it never works. Does video chatting even works with AIM? Can somebody recommend another program?

Are you trying to video chat with someone using Windows AIM? Because I heard the most recent version they actually removed iChat video compatibility. Not sure if they did so on purpose and I'm not sure if they've released a new version since [this was maybe 2 months ago].

Are you trying to initiate the video chat? If so, do you have a fast enough internet connection? Have you had the other person attempt the initiation?

Do you get any error messages?

Yes, it says something like can't complete connection cuz you didn't verify, but i never end up getting a prompt
