Cant get watch to pair to phone again

So my watch was unpaired from my phone and I have ran out of ideas on what do to do get it paired again. I go through the process of pairing and I get stuck on on the part where it makes me have to update my watch. All it does is say watch is up to date then thats just the end of it. Nothing else happens, my watch just goes to a blank screen and on my phone the only option Im given is to exit update but that ends the whole process of pairing. Just makes no sense. I have reset this damn watch 100 times and get the same result

It's difficult to tell from your post what seems to be the issue. I would contact Apple support and explain your issue, then perhaps they can assist further.

Suggesting a few other possibilities, make sure you're up-to-date on your iPhone iOS updates, if applicable, reset/restore your Apple Watch to a new watch and then try pairing your Apple Watch as a new device with your iPhone.
