Been on the phone with a different phone with apple/att for 3 hours and my phone still isn’t able to be used as a phone. Ridiculous if you ask me. I know I read where the servers are overloaded or whatever but it’s been 5 hours since I’ve had the phone and the SIM card still isn’t activated.

If you have a current AT&T active SIM from say your old iPhone, just put the active SIM from your old phone in the iPhone X and power cycle it.

Keep the new SIM handy in case the activation was actually scheduled during one of your earlier attempts and just delayed in the AT&T Activation servers.
