Hello

Whenever I type in 192.168.1.1 I get an error page. I know this is correct because it works on all the windows laptops in my houses as well as parallel windows in my mac to access the router. But it doesnt work on the mac os x. I have latest version, I tried safari, chrome, firefox, opera... When I type it in, the link becomes "http://homerouter.cpe" and i get "safari cant find server page". On windows os it works, any suggestion? I have a Huawei B593.

Thank You

The only thing I can think of is look in System Prefs under Security & Privacy and try turning off the OS X firewall if you have it turned on.

Hi Bilalo,

Did you manage to solve the problem? I have the exact same issue with my router. I can log on with my other Macs but my iMac gives me the error message the same as yours when it redirects me to homerouter.cpe

Any help appreciated :)
