Can't I implement Firefox Zoom into the Macbook trackpad?

I Just found out the neat feature that I can zoom in the screen with Command key and + or - . Why can't this be implemented in the Track pad since It only needs 2 fingers..

I Just found out the neat feature that I can zoom in the screen with Command key and + or - . Why can't this be implemented in the Track pad since It only needs 2 fingers..

You can zoom with 2 fingers on the trackpad while holding command. Enable it under System Prefs/Keyboard and Mouse/Trackpad. I realize it's not the same as enlarging text in Firefox, but sort of achieves the same thing.
