When i got up today to watch a youtube vid on my Mac G5, i notice that i can't, and when it says i need to download adobe 9, i get as far as installing the plugin when it says that it failed, i've tried many times to redue this to watch youtube, but i fail everytime, please help!

p.s. I've called adobe and apple and they don't get whats going on.

I would try going into your Internet Plug-Ins folders located in the Library folders and delete the Adobe plug-ins there first before trying to reinstall them. Or you can use the uninstaller that's located in the link at the bottom of this post.

The paths for the two different Internet Plug-Ins folders are as follows
"Your HD"/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
"Your user account"/Library/Internet Plug-Ins

Look for file names like: Flash Player.plugin, flashplayer.xpt

The standalone installers are located here...
