macOS Can't install F-Script Anywhere / Can't join procmod group

I'm trying to set up "F-Script Anywhere" on an Intel iMac. To do that I need to put my computer's developer account into the procmod group, so that FA can inject itself into a running application. The FA application itself should be able to add the account into the procmod group, but it fails with a "not a known DirStatus" error. I don't speak Terminal, but I tried to cut and paste some terminal commands from various webpages to at least find out who is in my procmod group, prior to adding my developer account to procmod. That fails also.

Any thoughts?
