Can't install Google Browser Sync

I've tried installing Google Browser Sync and I get an error message that it couldn't be installed because "Signing could not be verified -260". I've got the latest version of Firefox, running on an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with 10.4.9. I also have "Do not use OCSP for certificate validation" selected in my security settings. Anybody have a solution?
