Hi everybody,

I've bought a used macbook pro
Apple MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.2 17" Early 2011 Specs

Identifiers: Early 2011 17" - MC725LL/A

Well, i formatted the HD and i can reinstall MAC OS X Montain Lion.

I also bought my own copy of OS in Apple Site, but i can't install either. i Receved this message:"this item temporarily unavailable try again later"

I don't have the apple id of the ex-owner.

Can someone help me????

Regards

apple chat support they can contact ex owner if they haven't unlisted the machine or turned off find my mac for it.

also too, are you installing from a usb drive? because then you would not have to go through the apple ID unless the machine is still registered with another owner. which happens in service units refurbished

Command-R to refresh the App Store page where your download is listed, and then try downloading again. Probably have to do it multiple times until it starts downloading as that error usually appears when the servers are busy.

You may have to try this too:

Open up App Store, and then click on Store -> Check for Unfinished Downloads.
