Hi. I'm running 10.8.5, and went to the app store and downloaded Mavericks. However, at the end of the "preparing for installation" phase (before the computer restarts), it said my start up disk was full. So, I deleted about 7 gbs of space, and restarted my computer hoping it would complete the installation now that there's enough space.

Unfortunately I'm still on 10.8.5 and when I go to the app store, it says "downloaded" in my purchases tab, but doesn't give me any option to install it. Even if I go to the download page within the app store for mavericks, it says "download". But when I click that it says I have to sign in to the account I used to purchase it. But I am logged into that account, I have no other accounts.

What is going on? How can I fix this? Thanks

Look in your /Applications folder and the Mavericks installer should still be there. Just double click it to launch the installer again.
