Can't install Microsoft Office 2008 on my iMAC running Sequoia Ver. 15.4.1

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac can’t be installed on this disk. A newer version of Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is already installed.

If Office 2008 is already installed, and you are trying to reinstall Office 2008, you will probably not be able to, until you first uninstall the existing Office installation. I am pretty sure that you can do that by running your Office 2008 installer. Should be one of the choices to remove existing Office installs
Quick re-think... Office 2008 is likely too old for macOS Sequoia, so you will probably want to find a cheap license for a newer version of Office. Current version would be MS Office 2024, I think. Google for discount license, or "Cheap Microsoft Office 2024 for Mac". Sometimes you get lucky and find several choices on the 'net, sometimes for less than $25 US

I'm going to GUESS that MS Office 2008 is just too old to install onto a Mac running 15.x (Sequoia).

You said that a newer version is already installed.
What's wrong with the newer version?
What do you need the older version for?

Thanks for this advice. You are in agreement with other members of the form. Looks like I need to find a newer 64 bit app. instead of the 32 that I own.
