Hi

I'm having trouble installing the 7.4.5 QuickTime update, the software update app is just saying:

"The update QuickTime can't be saved"
You do not have appropriate access privileges.
The Installer package has been moved to the Trash, to try again open the package from the Finder.

However it says this before it starts downloading the application.

Does anyone know how I fix this problem?

I am logged on with an Administrator account but not the original one the computer came with (used the old account to make a new one then deleted the original one).

Thanks :)

Try repairing your permissions on your HD with Disk Utility. If that doesn't work try installing the stand alone update from Apple's website.
