I uninstalled Safari with appzapper because I was having some issues that I couldn't figure out how to undo. I tried to reinstall from the download page on Apple's website, but it tells me that Leopard is not installed on my hard drive (obviously false).

What can I do? This doesn't actually bother me as much as it might others, since I just use Firefox (and occasionally Opera), but I like to have the option of using safari.

Perhaps if you download the 10.5.4 Delta Update, you will get Safari back.

Duff-Man says...try putting your 10.5 disc in and running "optional installs" package - you should see Safari listed in the apps there. After doing that I would install the 10.5.4 *combo* updater (not the delta) to bring it all up to current spec...oh yeah!

<3 you Duff-Man

Just downloading the combo updater 10.5.4 will solve your problem. I did the same thing a few weeks ago.
