I am having problem installing screensavers.
I have 2 .saver files that I have downloaded (one is system47 star trek screensaver) and I have placed the .saver files in screen saver folder but when I go to system preferences and select the folder to choose the file, the .saver files are dimmed and I can't select them.
Does anyone know why and what can I do to fix them?

Check to see if the files are native to your Macintosh. Screen savers are one of those things that do NOT work in Rosetta on Intel Macs.

Ok, here is what I did to make it work.
In desktop & screensaver window I just drag and dropped the file in the preview window and it started working.
