I am trying to install Snow Leopard on a separate partition so i can use it when Lion annoys me. However, when i try to boot from my CD it hangs at the apple logo forever, so i tried again holding down CMD+V so i can see what the holdup is...in the first few lines...i get stuck at this...
Loading System\Library\Caches\com.apple.kext.caches\Startup\extentions\mkext.......
any suggestions? i have another disk but it is scratched apparently so i get a flashing question mark...:(

Edit: nevermind, i cleaned my flashing question mark disk with a microfiber cloth and put it back in and it works...its installing right now......30 min remaining
