Can't install Tiger on Dual MDD

We can't get Tiger to install on this dual MDD Power Mac G4. Panther installs perfectly fine, but Tiger kernel panics either upon booting from the DVD or CDs (tried both).

Any ideas?

Have you tried the discs on another machine.

It may also be your drive ?

Do you have a Firewire iPod that you can image with the Tiger CD and boot from it? My quicksilver had a similar issue when I went to install Tiger on it. I am still not sure what caused it, but it works fine ever since (the drive was replaced)

It was a SCSI Zip Drive. I reached back and unplugged everything before installing Tiger (besides a KB, Monitor, and Mouse), as I've seen peripherals make it kernel before, but the SCSI card was at the top and I must have missed it. Oh well, it only took me 3.5 hours to figure it out!
