I'm trying to install the preview of 10 on my MBP and it says it can't install to my partition because it's not in Grid and thinks it's in Master boot. However, I did partition in grid and just checked. I did the format in the installer and it made it The correct format but it won't install and I keep seeing this error.

OS X formats FAT32 in such a way that OS X sees it as GPT but Windows sees it as MBR. This is known as hybrid MBR.

In order to convert it to such a way that it appears as GPT to both OSes, you've to use a free CLI called gdisk to convert it from a hybrid MBR back to a protective MBR state.

gdisk is not terribly hard to use I partition just about everything with gdisk or fdisk it's logical and concise.
