Cant install windows 7 on mid-2007 iMac

Hello,

I'm having a really strange problem. When i boot off my windows 7 pro cd, 32bit, it starts with the Loading Files, and then the windows loading icon.
Then, i get a black screen, no cursor, or anything. This is before i can even click Install Windows.

Does anyone know what the problem is/ how i can install windows 7?
